Ideas

Well, so far my turtles growth has been like this. (You may notice a time gap here--I lost my flash drive with most of my pictures) The one that kept growing is Yugioh. The one that did not is Sakura. Now, my mom had an idea, but I don't know how viable it is, so I thought I'd bring it up here. She thinks that because when Yugioh started growing I gave him more adult food, Sakura didn't get all the food she needed, since I feed them together. (I can't help it--she gets mopey and refuses to eat unless she can see Yugioh.) Now, I got some baby turtle food just for her, and I've started putting them in different containers to feed them (they're both clear so that she can see him when she eats), but do you think this will really help, or do you think it's just a wild idea?

It's definitely worth a try Yes!! Give it a go! If you can, take a ruler and measure the shell length from head to tail and write it down... for BOTH turtles. That is your baseline starting point. Turtles are measured with a flat ruler and not over the shell with a soft tape and head and tail are NOT included. Measure say every 2 weeks or monthly for the next 6 months... and see if the wee one is growing or not. The larger may also grow but at a slower rate, thereby allowing the little one to catch up. Great idea Mom!!
