Question Spraying

Okay, I'm not entirely sure where this should go, so I'm putting it here. Every spring (and yes, it's needed every spring) we spray for bugs around the house, and sometimes drop bug bombs in individual rooms. Obviously, while the spraying is going on, I need to get the turtles out of the house, and keep them out. Understandable. But their big tank is, well, BIG, and hard to move around, so I'd have to take them in the smaller tank. Now--what do I need to do to make sure that the big tank is safe for the turtles to return to?

The only thing I can think of is to cover it with something thick and heavy, and don't take the covers off until the house is well aired out.

Turning on the Aquarium lamp in the morning is MY cup of coffee.
