Hi from Bronx Zoo Herpetologist

Hello,

Glad to be here. I'm a herpetologist and book author, recently retired from a career at several zoos (21 years with the Bronx Zoo) and museums, along with time spent as a field researcher. I look forward to communicating with as many members as possible. A bit more about some of the work I've been lucky enough to have been involved in is posted here http://blogs.thatpetplace.com/thatre.../#.U09B91d8qpE.

I also have many articles posted there on turtle care, conservation and natural history. Best regards, Frank

Hello and welcome to the forum

What an interesting career you've had. I look forward to reading your blogs.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Welcome. You probaly have a ton of great photos from the zoo. It would be great if you would post some here. Do you keep any fish tanks?
Thanks!
