What a pretty turtle! I love her shell coloring.

Thanks for sharing.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Hi All,
I wanted to let everyone know that today Sunday July 6th, 2014. At 2 years old and VERY Healthy "Freddy" the lady red slider was released back into the lake where she hatched up the hill. I had been working with the local Turtle club to make sure its the right time of year and temps are 90+ this will give her time ...to get use to the WILD. I took her down to the sandy cove "saw other turtles there basking" so we knew this was the place. I put her close to the water ..and it did not take long before she was swimming away. She Looked back 3 times at me :) before she took off under swimming FAST under the water. She is now with other turtles that will show her the rest of the way. I know she is HAPPY but I'm hurting inside :)
