Default help me with breeding

i had a few questions about breeding my ouachita map turtle: how do you know when they are ready for breeding, how hard is it to care for eggs and hatchlings, what would be a good mate for her and how do i pick the right one to breed with, what kind of supplies would i need to raise them.

My best advice is for you to pick up a book specialtized in breeding in that species. Breeding is tedious and there aren't many books about it.

It sounds like you're very new to turtle breeding.. do you have the set up necessary for this? Do you know what you're going to do with all those baby turtles?

Start with books and forums which specialize in turtle breeding.

Moist soil. Pat it down enough so the Momma turtle has the ability to dig and high enough for her to feel secure to lay her eggs.
