Default Worms???? Wth!?!?!?!?

I just noticed two tiny little worm looking things swimming in my turtles' aquarium! I am so freaked out! They are so tiny i am amazed i noticed 'em, but this is definitely a problem.

I have three wild painter turtles in an aquarium together. How can i clean out the aquarium, and delouse my poor turtles?

Also, i have a water treatment called Malachite Green. Would this be safe for my turtles? It's for fungi, parasites, and protozoans.

Please help!

I dont know about the treatment. You can drain ur tank with a hose. I have also had the little worms. The ones i have sometimes are very small and red i think they just live in algae or something i dont think its a big problem. Also make sureyour filter is big enough for your tank.

Do not use the treatment. It is potentially harmful to your turtles. Different species need different types of parasites and sometimes even fungi and bacteria to support and assist our environment, health, and growth. With this knowledge I wouldn't go messing with something like that. Let nature take care of itself. I'm sure the parasites, fungi, and protozoa that is needed is all there so don't go hindering it or trying to get rid of it.

As for the worms, I've heard of something like this before but I honestly don't know the name or how to treat it. I can tell you it's normal and that it's happened to other turtle owners before.
